Catherine took the step & got her Implants
Replacing a single missing tooth is the most common use for a dental implant. This can be done in a site where the tooth is already missing, or can be done at the same time a tooth is extracted (an immediate implant). There are also options of having a temporary tooth placed in the implant while it heals so you don’t have to without a tooth. Dr James Philpott and his team will advise what is possible and what is best on a case by case basis.
When 2 or more teeth are missing next to each other, an implant bridge can be used. This is when a titanium implant is placed at each end of the missing row of teeth, and an implant bridge is fixed to replace the necessary number of teeth.
At Auckland Implant Centre, we believe it’s never too late to restore your teeth – and your quality of life. Our caring, judgement-free team is here to guide you every step of the way, helping you regain not just your smile, but the freedom to eat, laugh and live with confidence.
